Blog Captain OBVIOUS strikes again! February 21, 2018 by Andreea in Blog What if the universe gives us ALL WE NEED IN A VERY OBVIOUS WAY ??!?! About INSPIRATION and 9 virtues that I literally got to shake hands with in the first year of living in London The biggest lesson I have ever learnt in my life is that 90% of SUCCESS IS JUST TO SHOW UP. That might sound pretty simple or quite ridiculous for the action takers, go getters, go doers, but even they might sometimes feel overwhelmed by so many events to show up to. This lesson, which helped me more than any advice, is actually very OBVIOUS. …If you want to listen to a band, first you need to show up to that festival. …If you want that job, first you need to show up to that interview. …If you want to hug him in the morning, first you need to wake up. (Maybe this is not such a relevant example) But for so many years it was hard for me to even show up in some places and, if I did, I was late most of the times! One of the biggest challenges I had was thinking I don’t have CONFIDENCE in myself. I believed that I need to be in a certain way to fit in. I kept studying in a very fast pace all my life, not only because I enjoy it (I might be a bit nerdy), but also from a space of LACK, of not feeling enough prepared / motivated. …Also, I like knowing different stuff as it helps me to come up with better jokes 🙂 I have consumed so much personal development materials and I came to the beautiful conclusion that IT’S NOT ONLY ABOUT STAYING MOTIVATED AND PERFORMING ALL THE TIME, BUT ABOUT ACQUIRING VIRTUES TO STAY INSPIRED ALL THE TIME. So…what is this about? “What do you meeeean NOT getting motivated?“, you might ask me.The market says that people have one problem today: they don’t know what they want. I believe the market’s almost got that right, but not quite. Most of the people know what they want, but don’t know HOW to get it and the NEED OF CLARITY is overly exploited. And the market keeps pumping up materials of staying motivated, getting clear on your goals, understanding yourself better.. and that is awesome, juicy and incredibly…. DEFOCUSING, actually. We are kept busy and with our eyes aiming at another inspirational quote all the time. And we do need mentors and crazily successful people to model their strategy or behavior, but we might risk losing some AUTHENTIC inspiration from our own being or from the life of the people around us if we lean on motivational quotes too much. Being open to see role models from our ENTOURAGE brings energy and inspiration as we are connected to them! And from the people I meet every day I bring you my real story about acquiring virtues They are the virtues that enrich my soul. 1. FAITH. I got rid of the mind block that I am not confident when I realized it’s FAITH what I need, not confidence. IT’S KNOWING that, IF I WANT TO SERVE THE PEOPLE WHO ASK FOR MY HELP, I AM RECEIVING TONS OF INSPIRATION FROM EVERYWHERE. I had confidence, I just needed faith that help is on the way I have doubled my awareness about life through the incredible amount of honesty and the desire to see the truth of the people who opened up to me in our coaching sessions. I am so grateful! I would tag you all here to show Appreciation, but…it’s that confidentiality stuff 2. ACTION This might not sound like a virtue, but for me it is. Action Jackson is one of the most inspiring people I have ever met and he’s been helping teenagers stay focused and happy for more than 15 years. He’s got: – tons of wisdom – one big mantra: SHUT UP AND TAKE ACTION – and a wonderful song: “Dream big, Act now, Never give up, You are amazing”!! Going in high-schools and at teacher gatherings in London made me understand that we all need to TAKE ACTION more with FAITH. Every discussion and involvement from a space of love makes an impact to a teenager. And we talk a lot about the inner child, but we also have an inner teenager who needs acceptance and connection 🙂 3. HOPE I was organizing a speaking event a year ago, when I met a beautiful woman called HOPE. I said to myself….“I recently met someone called FAITH, a man who’s brand is ACTION, another woman called HOPE…what if the universe tells me what I need in a VERY OBVIOUS WAY ??!?!” I love thinking in WHAT IF terms (“what if I move to London?, what if I go to a #UPW?, what if I also add cheese on that?...”). It gives me the energy of hope and courage to just go with the flow. So I got a message that I need to cultivate seeds of HOPE to keep myself FOCUSED ON THE JOURNEY and avoid getting into the drama of not having what I want now. But… what Journey? 4. DESTINY At the same event I met Destiny, a girl that somehow (only by her name and synchronistical presence) pointed out to me that I’m on the right path. IF ALL FALLS INTO PLACE and I AM IN SUCH A STATE OF RESOURCEFULNESS, then maybe it’s my destiny to become a coach for spiritual entrepreneurs. So I kept going. I opened a business, I got clients, but things were not moving so fast as I wanted to. Guess who introduced herself to me next? 5. PATIENCE You can see Patience as a lovely brunette who studies Finance and wants some career orientation coaching from me. Or you can see it as a (sometimes surrealistic) emotion that is natural in any process from the seed, to the birth and to collecting the fruit The best definition I got: PATIENCE IS THE ABILITY TO KEEP A GOOD ATTITUDE WHILE WAITING. It seemed I needed to know some more about HOW to actually do that. 6. PERSEVERANCE Perseverance needed support in how to choose an accountant for her business. And she highlighted MORE THAN OBVIOUS what lacked in my attitude. 90% of the success is to show up, as my British researches show. Perseverance showed up for me, as well. Regularly. And, by the way, really? Perseverance? Whoever named their child like that must have known it was meant to help me on the journey on that November 2016! So I kept going! 7. SKY Looking at the nature and at the sky and reminding yourself of the infinite world we live in is a virtue. Staying connected with ALL THAT IS and breathing the air and forgetting about our worries is a virtue. Knowing when to take a break and seeing the miracle of the mere existence is a virtue. Also, a simple conversation with beautiful Skylar Acamesis can bring in a lot of virtues. Sky is one of the first people who looked at me and showed me to myself in complete acceptance and connection to my soul. It sounds quite deep. IT IS. She is a healer and an amazing woman! 8. GLADNESS Gladness Ojo is a lovely lady who helps entrepreneurial minds write business plans and develop their ideas into success. Thank you for the inspiration! I am getting it, Universe! I keep focused and I embrace the reality of the process. Following an action plan is highly needed in order to be glad about the progress. A very sparkly and bubbly coach explained to me that I was considering motivation a plan, when it’s actually an emotion. A cyclic emotion. And getting things done FOLLOWING A PLAN with a focus technique can make me very GLAD and that’s also a trait of INSPIRATION. I recommend using POMODORO daily and not only next to your omelette du fromage. 9. CHERISH In the photo from the cover of this article you can see a beautiful family I met at THE BEST YOU EXPO in March 2017 . These kids are called Angel, Cherish, Prince and Adele. Their mum is home-schooling them, they go to personal development events together and they know sooo much for their age. I wish I knew who #TonyRobbins is when I was 6. I know we all have so much to give, let’s connect and find a way to CHERISH the love and the wisdom. And lets do that with the younger ones first! The universe is really guiding us in a VERY OBVIOUS WAY. To wrap it up.. FAITH, ACTION, HOPE, PATIENCE AND ALL THESE VIRTUES COME IN THE MOMENT YOU REALIZE IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU, IT’S ABOUT THE PEOPLE YOU COULD BE HELPING. May you all have a superhuman ABILITY TO HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF! Please CHERISH this with others if you found it helpful Andreea <repost from March 2017> 0 Comments 0 Like! Share
